Historic Restoration

A Resourceful Approach to Landmarks

Andres is proud of its involvement with landmark restorations like the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe in Downtown Dallas.

In addition to its challenging nature, historic restoration demonstrates Andres' ability to solve the most complex construction problems.

Andres' work on the 100-year old cathedral garnered recognition from construction colleagues as well as the media and general public.

Adaptive Re-Use

Giving Dated Structures a New Lease on Life

Andres began transforming some of Dallas' important office landmarks into living units in the nineties with the Majestic Lofts.

Then came the three-building DP&L complex that features 158 living units and 25,000 square feet of retail at ground level and the Interurban building, which includes 134 living units and Downtown Dallas' first neighborhood grocery store.

Andres moved north a few blocks and completed the Mosaic (formerly the Fidelity Union Life Building) and the award-winning adaptive re-use of the Republic Bank Tower for Gables Residential.

In its third adaptive re-use project for Hamilton Properties, Andres transformed a warehouse into an aLoft Hotel.

Program Management

Planning Future Construction

Andres is proud to consult with clients on their plans for future building projects.

For example, Andres was instrumental in helping The Hockaday School with its 10-year master plan to renovate its campus. Wade Andres served on the school's Master Plan Committee to ensure the schematic designs of the buildings were cost-effective.

Andres also helped with the planning of the Akiba/Yavneh Academy's seven-building, 8-acre campus (above).
